AGREEMENT MONITORING
Numerous government-to-government agreements between the province of British Columbia and the Wet’suwet’en, along with corresponding activities, plans, and policies for natural resources management, are in place for the Upper Bulkley and Morice Watersheds. Learn more on how we compile and monitor their implementation and effectiveness.
WATER MONITORING
Water monitoring encompasses quality (physical, chemical and biological measurements) and quantity (amount). The MWMT has been monitoring water quality in the Morice Watershed since 2015, and we are now exploring methods of measuring the quantity, or volume, of water flowing throughout the watersheds.
WATERSHED RESTORATION
Ecological restoration is the process of helping places recover that have been damaged, degraded or destroyed. Through methods of innovative, low-tech, process-based restoration, we use locally sourced materials and utilize natural river processes to aid our riparian restoration work.
