

MORICE WATERSHED MONITORING TRUST
Established in 2012, the Trust works on the unceded territory of the Wet’suwet’en Nation on watershed monitoring and management for the benefit of the Wet’suwet’en People.
IMPACT AREAS
Our Programs
AGREEMENT MONITORING
Natural resource management plans and policies, government agreements and other plans for the Upper Morice and Bulkley Watersheds are compiled and monitored for implementation and effectiveness.
WATER MONITORING
The MWMT has been monitoring surface water quality at select sites in the Upper Morice Watershed since 2016.
WATERSHED RESTORATION
In 2021, the MWMT expanded its program to include watershed assessments and restoration.

ANNUAL MONITORING PLANS
Each year an Annual Monitoring Plan (AMP) is developed to set out the year’s proposed activities and budget.
MWMT TECHNICAL REPORTS
The MWMT has released several technical reports summarizing water data and assessing watershed health in the Upper Morice and Bulkley Watersheds.
WATERSHED DATA
All data is publically available via the Skeena Knowledge Trust's - Skeena Salmon Knowledge Centre.
